Licenciado en Ciencias Físicas por la Universidad de Salamanca y Doctor por la Universidad de Burgos en Enseñanza de la Física. Experto Universitario en Aplicaciones Multimedia.

Tras 20 años como docente en Enseñanzas Medias, en actualmente es Profesor Ayudante Doctor en el Área de Didáctica de las Ciencias Experimentales en la Universidad de Burgos. Vinculado a proyectos europeos: Scientix (proyecto de European Schoolnet para la Comisión Europea de la Innovación y la Investigación), Erasmus+, Europeana, PLATON, STEM Alliance y en la actualidad seleccionado como EU Code Week Leading Teacher.

Es miembro de la Junta Directiva División de Enseñanza y Divulgación de la Física (DEDF) de la Real Sociedad Española de Física (RSEF).

Coordinador de muchos proyectos con estudiantes creando numerosos contenidos en equipo, fomentando la participación, el planteamiento de problemas y la resolución de los mismos; ofreciendo a sus alumnos la posibilidad de que obtengan experiencias diferentes y gratificantes, basadas en el esfuerzo e imprescindibles en la sociedad; esfuerzo que ha llevado a muchos de los equipos de alumnos y profesores a obtener premios, distinciones, galardones y menciones en certámenes educativos. Otros frutos de este entusiasmo compartido con los alumnos son, entre otros, la publicación de los libros "Una mirada diferente: fotografía matemática" (proyecto Primer Premio Jóvenes Investigadores), "¡Física sí! La física está en lo cotidiano" (Finalista Premios Prisma), "El software libre, ¿realmente una alternativa?" (Premio San Viator), "1, 2, 3, 4... ¡¡¡Higgs!! El bosón de Higgs para todos" (Primer Premio Ciencia en Acción 2014), "Divulgación. Innovación en la enseñanza de las ciencias" (Mención de Honor Ciencia en Acción 2015), “2016 Space. La conquista del espacio…” (Mención Extraordinaria en el certamen de Investigación Esdelibro.es, Primer Premio en la modalidad de divulgación en la II Feria de la Ciencia y Tecnología, y Mención de Honor en Ciencia en acción 2016) y más recientemente “Construyendo la física a través del fútbol”, fruto del premio internacional European STEM League, otorgado por Science on Stage, y que ha tenido gran difusión en toda Europa; además de la coordinación de distintas publicaciones científicas y divulgativas con sus estudiantes.

Recientemente ha recibido un reconocimiento Aciertas, otorgado por COSCE, el reconocimiento internacional Global Teacher Awards y el Premio de Enseñanza y Divulgación de la Física (modalidad Enseñanzas Medias) de la RSEF-Fundación BBVA (https://www.fbbva.es/galardonados/miguel-angel-queiruga-dios/).

After 20 years as a teacher in Secondary Education, he is currently Assistant Professor Doctor in the Teaching Area of ​​Experimental Sciences at the University of Burgos. Coordinator of many projects with students creating numerous team content, encouraging participation, problem solving and their resolution; offering its students the possibility of obtaining different and rewarding experiences, based on effort and essential in society; effort that has led many of the teams of students and teachers to obtain awards, distinctions, awards and mentions in educational competitions. Other fruits of this enthusiasm shared with the students are, among others, the publication of the books "A different look: mathematical photography" (First Prize project Young Researchers), "Physics yes! Physics is in everyday life" (Finalist Awards Prism), "Free software, really an alternative?" (San Viator Award), "1, 2, 3, 4 ... ¡Higgs !! The Higgs Boson for everyone" (First Prize Science in Action 2014), "Dissemination. Innovation in science education" (Honorable Mention Science in Action 2015), “2016 Space. The conquest of space… ”(Extraordinary Mention in the Esdelibro.es Research Contest, First Prize in the dissemination modality in the II Science and Technology Fair, and Honorable Mention in Science in action 2016) and more recently“ Building physics through football ”, the result of the international European STEM League award, awarded by Science on Stage, and which has been widely distributed throughout Europe; besides the coordination of different scientific and informative publications with its students.
